Recipe: Mango salsa makes great summertime appetizer
Though summer doesn’t officially start until June, it’s not too soon to start thinking about recipes – including this mango salsa from the Culinary Health Education for Families (CHEF) program at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.
At 120 calories per serving (recipe makes four servings), this low-calorie snack includes cilantro, avocado and bell pepper.
The CHEF program offers classes to families and children that focus on simple cooking skills and nutrition education.
