Is my food still safe? Decoding food labels
Knowing if your food is safe to eat doesn’t have to be confusing if you know the terminology. And there’s one rule that’s easy – when in doubt, throw it out.
The only line you should never cross when finding out if your food is safe is the expiration date. No food should be consumed beyond the labeled expiration date.
