Welcome to the newest class of Nurse Anesthesia students!

Last week marked the first week of classes for our newest Doctor of Nursing Practice Program – Nurse Anesthesia students.

Here’s a breakdown of who started at Baylor College of Medicine:

  • 2 MS-DNP students
    • Average years of certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) experience: 19.5
  • 27 BSN-DNP students
    • Average years of RN experience: 3.58
    • Average years of RN experience in an ICU: 3.09
  • Number of women: 19 | Number of men: 10
  • 20 students are from Texas | 9 students are from out of state
