Throwback Thursday: Up in the air

Graduating from college is one of the most memorable accomplishments we can experience. It is particularly special for medical school graduates, who often go on to translate their knowledge into tangible, unique experiences with patients.

Many of us celebrate graduation by having a party or dinner with family and friends. Baylor College of Medicine graduate Ruth Grissom took her celebration to a whole new level – literally – in this photo from the 2001 Aesculapian yearbook, courtesy of the Baylor College of Medicine Archives.
