Help kids stay healthy and safe this Halloween
Halloween is a day filled with tricks, treats and sweets. And while that’s usually a recipe for a fun time with the family, it can also lead to an unsafe or unhealthy day.
Younger or shy children can get easily scared by costumes or decoration. People who need to watch their sugar intake can trip up with all the candy laying around. And some costume components can lead to skin irritations or safety concerns.
Luckily, a panel of experts at Baylor College of Medicine has given advice over the years aimed at making sure the spooky fun doesn’t stop.
