This week, we take a look back at how the College has changed as we celebrate 70 years of victories in Houston. A look at student life, then versus now.
While technology keeps revolutionizing the way students learn, one thing in education hasn’t changed: Classroom lectures. Students in the photo from 1980 attend lecture in Kleberg Auditorium. Now, 32 years later, there have been improvements and changes but it’s still home to learning.
After 32 years, the colors of the foosball men may have changed, but when Baylor College of Medicine students are looking to take a break they still find refuge at the foosball table.
Today, students can take a break on the second floor of the Michael E. DeBakey Center and find other amenities and academic resources.
Like in 1981, the opportunity to take a mental break and spin metal rods to propel a tiny ball is welcome among our students today. How did you take a break from class or studying?
