Thanksgiving is almost here. For many, work is slowing down and classwork is reaching a stopping point as the prospect of time off with friends and family is on the horizon.
For the younger readers, if you need a theme for a Friendsgiving feast, may we suggest a 1949-style party?
Smartly-dressed fellows in suits and ties, ladies in classy dresses, singing, dancing – this party has it all. We get this glimpse of a good time from 80 years ago in the 1949 Baylor Round-Up, courtesy of the Baylor College of Medicine Archives.
Hopefully, next week you will enjoy a little break and the chance to gather with loved ones.
