New research-focused blog launched
From The Labs, a monthly publication reporting new research at Baylor College of Medicine, relaunched today with a brand new blog format.
“From the Labs provides research information in a format that is palatable and understandable,” Ruth SoRelle, M.P.H., who edits the blog, said. “It reflects both the mystery and the beauty of biology and demonstrates how science interacts with both.”
SoRelle, an award-winning science journalist and contributor to Momentum, is bringing new features to From The Labs thanks to the new format, such as an “image of the month” and a constantly updating list of links to publications by Baylor scientists from Pubmed.
“Baylor College of Medicine’s biomedical research ranks with the best in the world,” she said. “Much of this work is funded through federal and state grants as well as private donations. Providing information about what the College’s scientists are learning is like an annual report to the community, telling those who have funded the work what is being learned.
