Tour de Pink: Raising money for breast cancer research
This past weekend, Baylor College of Medicine supported the Tour de Pink cycling event with enthusiastic riders and volunteers, benefiting the Pink Ribbons Project.
The Baylor College of Medicine Tour de Pink team of 40 riders has raised $10,729 for the Pink Ribbons Project so far, which beat their fundraising goal of $10,000. Though the ride is over, donations to the Pink Ribbons Project can be made through Oct. 15.
The College’s team of volunteers served more than 700 riders at the College’s Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center-sponsored pit stop along the route for the 47, 63, 80 and 100 mile-route riders.
