How to build an astronaut’s first aid kit

Have you ever wondered how astronauts take care of their health in space? Dr. Virginia Wotring, deputy director of the Translational Research Institute for Space Health and associate professor in the Center for Space Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, is researching what it takes to make space travel healthier.

“When I think about planning for space exploration, I put myself in the astronaut’s shoes: How would I pack? What would I need? How will we use the things we take?” Wotring said.
