Promoting health: Energizing for Baylor’s Wellness 5K
Last October marked the first, student-organized Baylor College of Medicine Wellness 5K Race/Walk and Kids’ 1K Fun Run, with more than 500 people from the College and Houston community in attendance. The event is an embodiment of “practicing what we preach” – future doctors become leaders when it comes to promoting health and wellness.
Join us on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 8 a.m. for the opportunity to walk or run, or help cheer on participants.
Post-race events include food, yoga, dance classes, music, and more. See more details about the event and register today.
All proceeds will go to the Wellness Education Fund, which supports numerous student-driven community projects including Food Rises, Medical Miles, Refugee Health and Leadership Academy, and the Music and Wellness Choir.
