Make small, long-term changes to your fitness resolutions this year

If one of your resolutions was to start an exercise routine, Dr. Irvin Sulapas, a primary care sports medicine physician and assistant professor of family and community medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, recommends making small, gradual changes to help you stick to your New Year’s resolutions.

Setting smaller goals leads to more motivation. Start with shorter, buildable workouts. Keep a routine schedule. Don't skip a warm up and cool down. Sleep is the secret to maximize performance.
