Throwback Thursday: Candid in the classroom

More than 60 years ago classrooms and labs at the College had a different look.

Maybe it’s the uniform haircuts or the black and white photos, but this week’s trip into the Baylor College of Medicine Archives feels like more than six decades ago when you consider the equipment our students use today, like the Surgical Simulation Center in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery.

This photo originally appeared in the 1946 Baylor University Round Up yearbook, when the College was still called Baylor University College of Medicine.
