Throwback Thursday: Moving season

This week we look back to the 1960 Aesculapian yearbook at Baylor University College of Medicine to highlight how we came to Houston.

One of the themes of the 1960 yearbook was a retrospective of the College’s time in the Bayou City.

The photos take a look back to the summer of 1947, when the College moved from our temporary home in an old Sears, Roebuck and Co., warehouse.   The building was located at the corner of Lincoln and Buffalo Drive, more commonly known as the corner of Montrose Boulevard and Allen Parkway today.
